During the summer many markets crowd the Viale Adriatic Sea with stalls of all kinds, from clothing to local folklore, which has always found great interest among tourists present.

A very interesting moment slip holiday, has become the "Happy Birthday Pomposa of the Lydians and Chess", which is celebrated every year on the 8th of August, where they are offered to tourists, wine, beer, sweets, watermelon and food of all kinds.

Pomposa is a seaside resort in the province of Ferrara. It is part of the seven Lidos of Comacchio.

Almost all of the architecture of the beach is due to the boom that was in the 50s and 60s, after more than 30 years of immobility the outskirts of the town are experiencing a new wave of construction, with particular interest in the construction of houses single-family and multi-family (the most common type in the lido).

Since 2008 was implemented by the Municipality of Comacchio a redevelopment of the main streets of the beach and street furniture.

On August 8 of every year is celebrated in the streets a party to commemorate its founding, with the Lido degli Scacchi, by Riccardo Rocca, an entrepreneur who contributed in a fundamental way to building development and tourism of the Lydians Comacchio and that the its name from the central square of the Lido Pomposa (square Riccardo Rocca).

The Pomposa is a seaside resort in the province of Ferrara, and is the northernmost of the seven Lidos of Comacchio, the one closest to the Po delta and therefore more interesting from a naturalistic point of view.
